This location carries shoes for the whole family—men’s, women’s, and kids’—including walking, running, hiking, trail, and court shoes. Fit First Footwear – Kitsilano (formerly LadySport) has been your trusted women’s-only store since 1983, offering the largest selection of women’s shoes in the Lower Mainland. As of December 15th, 2025 we’ve renovated and re-branded that store to be a second Fit First Footwear location! Don’t worry, we’re still the same owners, staff and offer the same experience you’ve always loved from LadySport, but we now fit all feet! You’ll find everything from athletic and casual styles to sandals and court shoes, with sizes ranging from women’s 5 to men’s 16 and options in narrow and extra-wide widths. Evan grew up in the specialty running world, and after graduating with a business degree from Capilano University, he followed his entrepreneurial genetics and opened Fit First Footwear in the fall of 2013.
As a true shoe geek, Evan is equipped with an amazing team of trained shoe fitters, high-quality products, and physiological knowledge to help fit and guide you into the shoe that suits your needs and wants.
Driven to grow a community that promotes an active and healthy lifestyle, Evan coordinates our welcoming Fit First Run Club and Run Clinics—helping new and experienced walkers and runners develop their skills, train for races, and build friendships.
